Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 30, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy lists the things you must not do with Harper. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account and, in serious cases, to reports to law enforcement or regulators.

General Rules

You will not use Harper, or any output from Harper, to:

  • break any law, regulation, or court order that applies to you, to your audience, or to your conduct online;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
  • impersonate another person, business, or organization, or misrepresent your relationship with one;
  • defraud, deceive, or mislead anyone, or to facilitate phishing, scams, or social-engineering attacks;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or stalk another person;
  • generate or distribute hate speech, incitement to violence, or content that promotes self-harm;
  • generate or distribute sexual content involving minors. This is an absolute prohibition. We report suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the relevant authorities;
  • generate non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes that depict identifiable people without their consent, or sexualized depictions of real people without their consent;
  • generate content that targets a specific person, group, or community for harassment or coordinated abuse;
  • spam, send unsolicited bulk communications, or operate any unsubscribed mailing list;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit accounting, account restrictions, or content safeguards;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying models, prompts, or system instructions of Harper, except where local law expressly permits this;
  • introduce viruses, worms, trojans, or any other malicious or harmful code;
  • interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Service;
  • use Harper from a country, person, or entity that is subject to applicable trade sanctions or export controls.

Restricted Subject Matter

You will not use Harper to plan, execute, or market a side hustle that is itself restricted, regulated, or prohibited by Stripe's published list of restricted businesses, or that would require a license you do not hold in your jurisdiction. This includes, without limitation: gambling, payday lending, cryptocurrency exchanges or wallets, precious-metals trading, securities brokerage, debt collection, adult-content services, escort services, weapons or ammunition sales, recreational drugs, controlled substances, ivory or wildlife products, counterfeit goods, identity-theft services, hacking or surveillance services, and pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes.

Industry-Specific Prohibitions

Because Harper is a planning and education tool, you must not use Harper, Harper outputs, or any persona we help you build, to perform or to imitate the performance of regulated professional services that you are not licensed to provide. The following list is non-exhaustive but absolute:

  • securities, cryptocurrency, foreign-exchange, or other investment recommendations or advisory services;
  • tax preparation, tax filing, or tax-planning advice for other people;
  • corporate or commercial legal advice, contract drafting for other people, or representation in any legal proceeding;
  • business-license filings, company-formation filings, or registered-agent services for other people;
  • credit decisions, lending decisions, loan brokering, or any other regulated lending or borrowing activity;
  • hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, or any other employment decision concerning other people;
  • real estate valuation, brokerage, transaction-matching, mortgage brokering, or property management for other people;
  • immigration, visa, asylum, or work-authorization counsel;
  • medical advice, mental-health advice, diagnosis, or therapy;
  • any other regulated profession that requires a license, registration, or membership in your jurisdiction.

"Get-Rich-Quick" Claims

You will not use Harper, or content you create with Harper's help, to make exaggerated income claims, guaranteed-income claims, "make money fast" claims, "risk-free" claims, "zero risk" claims, "secret formula" claims, or other deceptive testimonials about Harper, your product, or your service. Stripe's published policy treats these as restricted and we follow it. Marketing material derived from Harper outputs must be honest, must reflect realistic expectations, and must include any disclaimers your jurisdiction requires.

Data and Privacy of Others

You will not upload to Harper any personal data of another person without that person's consent and without a lawful basis. You will not upload confidential information of an employer, a client, or a third party that you are not authorized to share. You will not use Harper to build profiles of identifiable individuals for surveillance, stalking, or unauthorized targeting.

Intellectual Property

You will not upload material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, design right, or other intellectual property right. If you receive a properly formed takedown notice from a rights-holder, we will act on it under the procedures in our Content License.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you become aware of conduct on Harper that violates this policy, email support@harperbusinessconsultancy.com with details. We may investigate, suspend or terminate accounts, remove or regenerate content, and report serious violations to the appropriate authorities. We will preserve evidence as required by law.

Effective Date and Changes

This Acceptable Use Policy takes effect on April 30, 2026. We may update it. Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
