Content License
Last updated: April 30, 2026
This Content License explains who owns the inputs you upload to Harper, who owns the outputs Harper generates for you, and the limited license you grant Harper so we can run the Service. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
You Own Your Inputs
You retain ownership of every input you upload or type into Harper, including your goals, weekly hours, starting budgets, skills, interests, free-text descriptions, resume PDFs, photographs of your workspace, and any reference images. Uploading an input to Harper does not transfer ownership to us.
You Own Your Outputs
You retain ownership of the canvases, action maps, walkthrough videos, forecast videos, daily task lists, and any other content Harper generates from your inputs ("your outputs"). You can download them, share them, sell products based on them, post them on social media, embed them in your own website, or use them in any other lawful way. We do not claim a percentage of your earnings, royalties, or ongoing rights in your outputs.
License You Grant Us
To run the Service we need a limited license from you. You grant Harper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, transmit, process, transcode, display, and make derivative works of your inputs and your outputs solely for the following purposes:
- delivering the Service to you, including generating the canvases, action maps, and videos you ask for;
- providing customer support to you;
- protecting the security and integrity of the Service, for example by scanning for malware or for child-safety violations;
- complying with our legal obligations, for example a lawful court order or a take-down notice;
- training and improving the Service using anonymized and aggregated signals only. We do not use the personal content of your inputs to train public AI models.
This license is no broader than is needed for those purposes. The license terminates when we delete the input or output in line with our Privacy Policy, or earlier if you delete the content yourself, except where we are required to keep a record by law or to defend a legal claim.
30-Day Cache
We keep a working copy of each input and each output for 30 days from the time it is created so you can return to it, refine it, and download it. After 30 days the working copy is purged automatically. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your Warranties
You warrant and represent that, for every input you upload:
- you own it or you have a license that lets you upload it to Harper for the purposes described above;
- it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, design right, patent, trade secret, privacy right, or right of publicity;
- if it depicts an identifiable person, you have obtained that person's consent to upload their image and to have it processed by an AI model;
- it is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy;
- if it contains personal data of other people, you have a lawful basis under applicable data-protection law to share it with us.
Service Improvement
We may use anonymized and aggregated signals derived from your usage of the Service to improve Harper. Aggregated signals are not connected back to you and cannot be used to identify you. Examples include knowing that 18% of users on the Builder plan generate at least three canvases per month, or that the median resume upload is 2 pages long. We do not use the personal text of your free-form inputs, the unique content of your canvases or action maps, or your video outputs as fine-tuning data for any public model.
Optional Showcase
If you opt in (and only if you opt in), we may anonymize a canvas, an action map, or a 60-second walkthrough video and use it as a sample on our marketing pages. You can revoke this opt-in at any time by emailing support@harperbusinessconsultancy.com. Revoking does not retroactively remove copies that have already been distributed offline by third parties; we will, however, take down our published copies promptly.
Take-Down Procedure
If you believe content on Harper infringes your intellectual property, send a notice to support@harperbusinessconsultancy.com that includes:
1. your contact details; 2. identification of the work claimed to be infringed; 3. identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it is on Harper; 4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; 5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights-holder; 6. your physical or electronic signature.
We will respond promptly. Where appropriate we will remove or disable access to the material. We may also notify the user who uploaded it so they have the chance to file a counter-notice.
Repeat Infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual-property rights of others.
Effective Date and Changes
This Content License takes effect on April 30, 2026. We may update it. Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
