Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and HARPER BUSINESS CONSULTANCY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14520200) at 9 Peakman Close, Rednal, B45 9NF, England, ("Harper", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of harperbusinessconsultancy.com and any product, feature, or service we offer there ("the Service"). By creating a Harper account, signing in, or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Harper account. Users between 13 and 17 must have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account. We may ask for proof of consent at any time. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up, to keep that information current, to keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and to be responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@harperbusinessconsultancy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
The Service
Harper helps you turn an idea for a side hustle into a written plan: a Personal Business Canvas, a 30-Day Action Map, and walkthrough and forecast videos. Harper is a planning, drafting, and education tool. Harper is not a registered investment adviser, tax adviser, accountant, attorney, broker, immigration consultant, real estate agent, lender, or employment agency. The Service does not provide investment, tax, legal, accounting, licensing, immigration, real estate, lending, or employment advice. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional in your jurisdiction before acting on any output from Harper.
Subscriptions
Harper offers three plans:
- Curious is free of charge and includes 50 service-usage credits per month, one canvas per month, and one vertical recommendation. No video generation is included.
- Builder costs USD 24 per month, or USD 230 per year if billed annually, and includes 600 service-usage credits per month, full chat plus canvas plus action map, up to four walkthrough videos per month, and standard support priority.
- Operator costs USD 240 per month, or USD 2,304 per year if billed annually, and includes 12,000 service-usage credits per month, high-priority queue, 4K video output, up to 80 videos per month, weekly auto recap videos, bulk hustle switching, and early access to new features.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. We will charge the payment method you provided. If a charge fails, we may suspend your access until the balance is paid. If we change the price of a plan we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before the change takes effect. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge applicable taxes where required.
You can cancel your subscription at any time inside the Customer Portal at /app/billing. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a paid period. After cancellation, your account is preserved in read-only mode for 30 days so you can export your work, and is then deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
Credits
Credits are a service-usage allowance. They allow you to consume specific features inside the Service (for example, generating one canvas costs eight credits, generating a 60-second walkthrough video costs 70 credits, and so on). Credits are not currency. They are not stored value, are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable to other users, are not usable for third-party payments, are not gift cards, are not a digital wallet, and have no value outside the Service.
You may receive credits in two ways: included with your subscription each month, or by buying a one-time credit pack (Small, Medium, or Large). Subscription credits do not roll over from one month to the next. Credit packs remain valid for 12 months from purchase.
We may offer promotional credits at our discretion. Promotional credits expire on the date we communicate to you and are non-refundable in any circumstance.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. In summary: subscription cancellations let you keep access until the end of the paid period and we do not refund the unused portion; an unused credit pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; consumed credits are not refundable; AI-output disagreements are first handled by re-generation or a credit refill rather than a cash refund.
If you are a UK or EEA consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or local equivalent. By starting to use the digital service immediately on purchase, you expressly agree to begin performance during the cooling-off period and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once you start consuming credits or once we have begun delivering a digital output to you.
Your Inputs and Outputs
You retain ownership of the goals, descriptions, photographs, resumes, and other materials you submit to Harper ("your inputs"). You retain ownership of the canvases, action maps, videos, and task lists Harper generates from those inputs ("your outputs"). You grant Harper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process, and display your inputs and your outputs for the limited purpose of operating and improving the Service, generating new outputs you ask for, and providing customer support to you. This license is no broader than is needed for those purposes and ends when you delete the relevant content.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit each input you upload, that the input does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and that you have any consents required for any people who appear in photographs you upload.
Your Conduct
You will not use Harper to do anything illegal in your jurisdiction, anything that violates the rights of others, or anything that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
AI Outputs and Forecasts
You acknowledge that Harper relies on artificial intelligence to generate text, images, and videos, and that AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, suitable for your situation, or compliant with the laws and regulations that apply to you. Side-hustle income forecasts shown in the Service are estimates based on the inputs you provide and observed market patterns. They are not a guarantee, promise, or warranty of any income, return, or profit. Service Availability
We try to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. We may suspend or change features, perform maintenance, or remove content for security, legal, or operational reasons. Where reasonably possible we will give you notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and that the Service will meet your requirements or be error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties; in those jurisdictions our disclaimer applies only to the extent permitted by local law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Harper's total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Harper in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) USD 100. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenues, lost business opportunities, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Harper, its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your inputs, your outputs, your violation of these Terms, your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, or if continued service to you presents a security or legal risk. You can terminate your account at any time by following the deletion flow in /app/billing.
Disputes
We encourage you to contact support@harperbusinessconsultancy.com first if anything has gone wrong; most issues can be resolved that way. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Harper agree that the dispute will be subject to the law and courts described below.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and Harper agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you do not accept the change, you must stop using the Service before the change becomes effective. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
